This is an advanced course focusing on some of the more practical aspects of PV module and system engineering. Starting from a more in depth look at the module design and manufacturing, to module electrical and optical characterization, focusing on the measurement methods and tools as well as interpretation of the measured parameters. The course then continues with methods for characterizing the performance of PV inverters in the laboratory, as well as performance monitoring and analysis of PV plants.
