Hackaton: Programming for VISTLE

This workshop is aimed at researchers and developers who want to adapt the open-source visualization packages VISTLE, COVISE or OpenCOVER from the HLRS visualization toolbox to their own needs.

This two-day workshop focuses on extending and automating the tools through Python scripting and C++ development, working hands-on with the documentation and source code.

We strongly encourage participants to bring their own datasets and visualization ideas to the event. Knowledge of COVISE/Vistle (e.g., from attending the introductory course) and basic programming skills in C++ and Python are expected.
