What does südwissen do?
Südwissen connects the universities in the southwest on the topic of continuing education. Through cooperation, we create synergies, facilitate processes and enable development.
The state universities in Baden-Württemberg are advised, informed, and supported by südwissen through
- digital infrastructure and umbrella marketing
- qualification
- trend research and development
The focus is on the core topics of marketing, quality management, framework conditions, continuing education management and the development of offerings. Südwissen is responsible for the interests of continuing education at the cooperating universities and supports them in reaching those interested in continuing education.
The centerpiece is the joint platform on which universities can present their continuing education portfolio. Individuals and companies obtain comprehensive information on continuing education at universities and can book courses directly online. The platform makes the continuing education offerings of the participating universities more visible and easier to access.
Südwissen moderates the cooperative networking of continuing education at universities and is the contact for companies and organizations. The südwissen team is at your disposal as a central point of contact. The further expansion of südwissen is supported by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg (MWK) within the framework of the continuing education initiative “Weiter.mit.Bildung@BW” as part of the initiative “Zukunftsland BW – Stärker aus der Krise” and will be continued under the name “Hochschulweiterbildung@BW”.
